For someone who knows nothing about gardening, buying a gift for an avid gardener is a very daunting experience! After looking through several pages of Google, Amazon and Etsy, I was still at a loss for what useful gift I could get, while on a budget of about $30. Finally, I happened upon a couple of gift baskets on Etsy, but after tax and shipping, it was going to be a little over $30 with only a few items in the basket. So I decided to go about making my own gardening gift basket! I have listed the items that I placed in my basket below, along with where to find them and a rough estimate of what they cost (not including tax).

Gloves- about $3 (Lowes)

Ferry-Morse Seeds- Ranging from $1.59-$2.49 (Lowes)

Bar of Soap- $1.50 (Michaels Craft Store- impulse buy racks near the registers)

“Ideas” Bird Journal – $1.50 (Michaels Craft Store- impulse buy racks near the registers)

Chalkboard Label Clips- $1.50 (Michaels Craft Store- impulse buy racks near the registers)

Basket- $8 (Michaels Craft Store- it was on sale from $14)

*I already had the burlap for the bow and the crinkle paper from other things, but you could more than likely pick up these items from Michaels Craft Store or any craft store.
